MAD Difference

Minprint & MAD Creative are unparalleled in the local market for the range of services that we provide and being fully integrated we provide great value as there are no 3rd parties involved.

You deal with one contact, issue one brief, confirm one deadline and pay one invoice.  As the process is integrated each part of the job is anticipated and expected, it flows smoothly from one part of the job to another with visibility of the entire schedule of events needed to meet the timescales required.

Its insanity doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Go MAD with and display your brand in bright vivid colour!

MAD Team

Jamie McMinnis

Managing Director

Jamie’s life revolves around work and family, he can’t get enough of either! Weekends are spent always on the go; if he’s not away in the motorhome mountain biking, you will find him on the golf course, tennis court or in the swimming pool but guarantee his 3 kids will be there having a blast too. At night he’s partial to a beer or few wee gins with his wife Anna and their close friends.

Jamie has a degree in Computer Science and although he hates to admit it, is a bit of a geek at heart! He embraces change and loves to introduce his clients (and workforce) to the latest innovations. With over 15 years’ experience in print, he developed the MAD Creative team to help customers get results with ‘Branded Brilliance’.

Duncan Gleadhill

Creative Director

Approaching the twilight of his rugby playing days, Duncan is still a big follower of the game but 5 aside football has to manage his competitive side. Duncan’s young family is his focus outside work but still enjoys an occasional night out with friends.

Duncan graduated with a degree in Graphic Design and has 12 years working in advertising. He really enjoys working with clients to make sure he understands their needs and get the best out of each project.

Andrew Christie

Senior Designer

When not firmly planted behind a computer screen, Andrew enjoys keeping fit with a bit of gym & 5 a side football with mates. Andrew is a snowboard fanatic and will do anything to get out on the slopes, whether it’s the pistes in Val-d’Isère or a muddy field in Craigantlet.

After studying for a Foundation Degree in Creative Multi Media at QUB, Andrew went on to complete a BDes in Design for Visual Communication at Ulster University, picking up a D&AD accolade along the way. Andrew spent over 11 years honing his skills in the advertising industry and brings a wealth of design and branding experience to the MAD team.

Anna Balfour

Account Manager

With over 12 years’ experience in Account Management, Anna honed the skills required to became a mum after caring for everyone in the studio and looking after Clients!  Outside of work, she spends most of her time running around after her two little girls but still enjoys a good night out.

Anna graduated with a 2:1 (BA Hons) in Account Management from Northumbria University and has over 12 years’ design and advertising experience. Her role is to oversee every aspect of each project, from the initial briefing stage right through to the post-delivery analysis; ensuring that each job is delivered on time, on strategy and on budget.

Ian Allen

Design Project Manager

Ian’s creative richness has been influenced to this day by the folklore of Fairies and Giants that were woven into the fabric of his childhood. He has a strong appreciation of a good glass of Irish whiskey at the end of the day which helps nurture and tease out his best ideas. When not working Ian likes to think about keeping fit whilst reading or watching a movie. He is also known, from time to time, to torture his wife and children with his rendition of a few tunes on his Tanglewood TW45 Sundance.

Graduating with a BA in design and with over 14 years working as a creative, Ian has picked up a few tricks along the way. However having the benefit of experience, he now feels as much at ease working on a project with a sketch pad and pencil as he does with a high-spec computer at his disposal.

David Laidlaw

Events Development Manager

With an interest in trying to act younger, you’ll often find David attempting to surf on the North Coast or hold on to the back of a speedboat in Craigavon. When on dry land David enjoys a few drinks at the weekend, hoping Newcastle United don’t get relegated and socialising with friends.

David has a degree in Business Management and an MSc in Events Management, he specialises in event planning and designing exhibition solutions for his clients and enjoys the chaos of running around an exhibition venue.

Robert Hall

Marketing Manager

Petrol head Rob is all about the ‘smiles per gallon’ rather than miles per gallon, often getting up early to drive his favourite roads while most people are still in bed. Summers are spent smashing cricket balls to the boundary (when the rain stays away & he’s not out for a duck).

Rob has a BSc in Communication, Advertising and Marketing and 15 years spent in an automotive plc hasn’t dented his desire for performance cars and exploring what makes them tick over. He loves nothing better than getting under the skin of a brand to develop a killer strategy.
